Bristol Organizations

An Organization Dedicated to Organizations

About 18 months ago, Bristol Organizations and the YWCA looked into various types of volunteer management software. Well, Nancy Firebaugh at the YWCA has not given up ... they now have a software package they are willing to share, demonstrate and train other organizations for use.

The Volunteer Software package is an extremely flexible and comprehensive software program that will track volunteer information that includes:

·Names, addresses, phones, and emails
·Birthdays
·Statistics for any period of time
·Skills Bank
·Scheduling
·Stations and jobs
·Reimbursements
·Time Sheets
·Mass mailings - labels, envelopes, & letters
·Active/inactive volunteers
·Instant reports - by month, quarter, or year
·Custom reports - through Excel

The YWCA has the Volunteer Software program available to any non-profit group that may want to try it or use it.  A key component of the software is the ability to import data that is already in another format, such as an Excel spreadsheet or an Access database.  Recently, we were able to import 869 names and addresses from an Access database directly into the Volunteer Software.  The YWCA is open to any organization using this software on the YWCA premises or testing the software to see if it fits the needs of the organization.

Our point of contact at the YWCA is Nancy Firebaugh, Corporate Technology Services...423-968-9444.
